After graduating from UCL, I worked for two years at Shanghai Aico Architectural Design Co., Ltd., where I was involved in a variety of projects, including commercial malls, commercial streets, office buildings, and schools. During this time, I gained hands-on experience across all phases of architectural design, from conceptual development and preliminary design to the completion of detailed stages.
One of the most significant projects I contributed to was the Shanghai West Railway Station development, where I worked intensively for one and a half years. My primary responsibilities included optimizing the design of the office building, creating detailed 3D models, designing building elevations, and producing detailed construction drawings. This project demanded significant dedication and effort, but it also served as a valuable opportunity for professional growth. Through my work on this project, I honed my skills in architectural design and detailing while gaining a deeper understanding of the complexities involved in large-scale developments.
