The project aims to explore the relationship betweenthe hype and
dissemination of viral content and the visual and urban space. We
have chosen traditional Sami motifs as the main subject, allowing the
materialisation of immaterial or hidden culture into a visual language,
and the city as a bridge to achieve this, so that the two elements
can be transformed and eventually manipulate people's senses in a
sense, creating visual enhancement to achieve the hype.
Inspired by the very typical, high-density, visually occupied billboards
in Hong Kong, we are another set of promotion and dissemination
solutions for visually occupied. Whoever controls the billboard
controls one of the most important publicity and determines waht
people look in the city. We first use eye gazing tracking to get the
user’s field of vision and attention, and get the visual attention map
of the current area (street), so as to figure out which part is the most
attractive, and then Hype repalcement will happen in these areas,
which is, the display area of our hype content, the area of visual
enhancement.
