The site is located in Baoshan, Shanghai, characterized by a long and narrow shape. To avoid fragmenting the city, our design strategy focuses on stitching the urban fabric together. We use pedestrian bridges to seamlessly connect the parking lot, the park, and the metro station. At the southern end of the site, we integrate the metro station to create an M-space, while the northern end transforms into a waterfront ecological zone to activate and enliven the area. The façade design employs a dialog with the city, resulting in a dynamic and expressive appearance.
