"Vaults Reimagined" is a project that intertwines historical preservation with modern design, drawing inspiration from the 12th-century Abbey's Lower Choir Vaults. Our objective is to respect and highlight the Abbey's historical significance while introducing a functional, contemporary element. The primary goal is to create a structure that both preserves and accentuates the Abbey's ruins. Secondary objectives include providing a versatile space for performances and exhibitions, and offering visitors unique viewing experiences of the historical site.
